Had a great time. Even had other tailgates join us.

I think I have officially been welcomed into our Tailgate.

Thats my daughter working the boilpot. She may be all in on Georgia but she was still born in Baton Rouge

Our families have a lot in common, we are split LSU/UGA and have lived in both states and have family that pull for both.

How many pounds of shrimp?

You sir know how to tailgate. It looks delicious.
The little lady looks like quite the athlete. My guess would be basketball maybe soccer.

It's dish we get all channels. We even have a tent with a kids TV in it so the kids catch watch kids shows then a big screen for football. Works great.

Sadly this was my swan song this year. Kentucky game I will be in South Dakota murdering pheasants.

Till next year I will do it again. For those who live in the Athens area I do a big crawfish boil in May. Will send an invite.

They're good but it's just so much work to get those little buggers out. Peel 'em out, mix 'em in with etouffee and get back to me.

I had a pound of spicy boiled shrimp for lunch today.

It was good.

With Thanksgiving around the corner I have to get my equipment ready to smoke-fry some turkey.

That looks really good.
I usually Fry one and Smoke one but will have to try that.

Never thought of that before. I am still mastering the art of smoking. I got the "louisiana" thing down. Crawfish, Shrimp, Fish, Jambalaya, Gumbo etc.
But I have ruined several briskets already.
So I am a bit skittish with the BBQ.

I got me a new crawfish boiler last spring. Thing is awesome can do 50 pounds at a time.

You just need a Louisiana guy to show you the trick.

There’s more than enough meat smokers (no homo) here to set you on a path to success.

Was going to mention that. I can show you some tricks will have so skilled you get one every 2 seconds down in ya.

Simple, two rings down on the tail, push tail in, twist, extract, suck the juice and brains out of the crawfishs decapitated head with one hand while the other pinch the tail and pull with your teeth.

repeat, chase the heat with cold beer, repeat
