Not sure how I feel about another female captain but as a geek I know that I will buy the CBS package and watch it. I didn't expect the next series to be another prequel and I am disappointed that they didn't pick up where voyager left off. Anyhow, here is the link to the CBS page with trailers and pretty much anything you need to know about it. It kicks off September 24 I believe. LINK

I probably won't watch that new series until it hits one of the streaming services but I do like The Orville starring Seth McFarlane. It's on FOX on Thursdays after Gotham.

shite, I was meaning to check that out. Seth is so talented. A remarkably gifted television personality.

Not the same producer but it is a knockoff of it and it is a comedy.

I'm always disappointed when they don't advance the universe. Enterprise was okay, but going back to that well?

Also, the media making a point that she's the first black lead in a Star Trek was pretty funny.

A shame she wasn't the first good female lead in a Star Trek series.

That would have meant something.
