Can you imagine how much shite Carroll would take if one of his players was injured in a scrimmage against a college team?

Then again, I just left there and that whole area is Seahawk crazy.

mean, Peterson started the shite. Don't compare your opponent's defense to an NFL team's and this won't happen.

Peterson has been sucking Alabama dick since the matchup was announced. It's honestly weird.

Peterson to Bama once Saban retires

Rant Melt will be legendary

Alabama would beat the Seahawks by 30 so it won't help much

there should be a two week inactivation of all bama posters. the threads have gotten terrible. and i've only been here a month. that's how bad it is.

Generally, fans of the team that beat your team's brains in aren't going to be pleasant the week after.

It should be and probably will be after the next rules meeting this off-season. And it's not technically "bending the rules" because there isn't a rule yet. More like finding a loophole, which is smart and the Bear used to be good at doing that too.

But while it's still legal and Bama is taking advantage of it, it's only fair that the teams playing them take advantage of it as well

A loophole is something that might be considered a gray area not directly addressed by the rules. Using former players unannounced and on an irregular basis was very specifically declared to be permissible by the rules committee in 2011.

Doing something the rules directly address as being legal is not finding a loophole.

At least one other team did it before Alabama but nobody gave a shait. It only became an issue when Saban started doing it.

If the committee wants to reverse course and eliminate the rule they made in 2011, fine. To be honest, they probably should - but just be clear. Not only is Bama not using some obscure loophole, they aren't even the first team to take advantage of a five year old rule.
