Is this year a rebuilding year for Bama?

Saban said last year definitely was. So is this year a rebuilding year as well?

They have the highest rated team ever under Saban. I think it’s a combination of the coaching and the players not buying in like they used to. I think Bama fans would take a “rebuild” over what’s really happening this year

I highly respect Alabama's program and generally respect Alabama's fanbase.

But all of the garbage they were posting after the national championship game about last year's team was the plucky underdog that overachieved and won the SEC, and how 2022 was supposed to be THE team, at this point it's pretty satisfying and hilarious.

Hell, I'll answer that one. If you lose multiple experienced starters, and try to replace them with inexperienced, untested players, you have struggles. Being highly rated out of high school and being thrown into the SEC and being expected to perform as an experienced upperclassmen, you will have problems. This year is on the coordinators. No excuse for playing like shite with veteran players.
