Double whammy because Tennessee, as a program, can't advance past the sweet sixteen. They've literally never done it. Because they suck.

Tennessee would have beat the dog shite out of both Arky and the hs team that you played last night. We didn't match up well with Michigan on the inside because of Dickinson and had a cold night shooting threes. It happens. Bad matchup for us unless we are shooting well.

You keep saying this because New Mexico State is a mid-major. New Mexico State is a division one college basketball team that won their league’s regular season championship, won their league’s conference tournament, has been in the ncaa tournament like four out of the last five years, and won a game in this year’s tournament. They’re a good program that has a very good coach. I am happy that we won. How did Tennessee do against a big ten opponent that didn’t deserve to even be in this tournament? Did regular season Rick finally get over the hump?
ETA: New Mexico State has a better basketball history than Tennessee. Oof

I didn’t get to watch their game yesterday but I just flipped on sec now and I see that Michigan ended the game on a 22-8 run. Oof that’s harsh. At least Tenn gals won their game - that’s who everyone thinks of anyway when you talk Tenn basketball.
