I guess we will see but this is just wish casting. Even if you think A&M just bought this class then why would they leave if they are getting paid?
Because the portal allows you, and your 'uncles', to grab a second payday.
Plus you bought 6-7 DL and then hired a DC that runs a 3 man front. Think the extra guys are going to stick around for 4 years or grab another bag to start for another program?

Every program cheated for decades. One program got the death penalty. For those wishing A&M gets the death penalty now that its legal is more than laughable
NIL is legal. Under Texas' NIL laws players cannot negotiate NIL until enrolled. None of these guys are enrolled. So, none of it is NIL. It is all dropping bags.

Durkin only ran a 3 man front at Ole Miss because he had to and Kiffin wanted it. He ran 4 man fronts at UF and runs multiple fronts in general. Jimbo has made it clear he wants to stick with a 4 man which of course makes sense with our DL talent.
I think you are missing the point though on NIL. If these kids are just chasing money then A&M will continue to pay them if that is why they came. It's not like we lack for resources. So what you are saying is someone will outbid us even though they didn't in this cycle.
The reality of course is most of these kids can and will get paid wherever they go and that A&M is unlikely to have paid out significantly more than the other power players involved. Most of the recruits A&M got were in H2H battles with other elite programs that have guys making big NIL already. The recruits will stay or go in the end based on 3 things. Are they able to get play time? Is A&M winning? What does the future look like year to year (coaching changes, trajectory, etc.)? Many of them are 3 year players at best anyway before they declare.
This class just gives A&M an ante into the big boy poker game but it doesn't guarantee they will win.

Try to convince a bunch of true DLs that Durkin's use of an edge LB to pass rush is a 4 man front.
