They just need to go back to strict anti-troll/flaming enforcement. This place has turned into the 4chan of sports and 99% of the good posters have been run off entirely from this board. I was shocked, coming back after several years, that almost every big-name poster is actually still here because I never see them on this board

21-0 changed a lot of things.
"Broken by" is overused but appropriate in the case of how that rivalry turned.

Even from 2012-2014 it wasn't this bad. A few LSU fans always trolled this board but it wasn't like this: there's one for every fanbase now. It's like the Paul Finebaum show- feels like one or two guys playing 15 characters and everyone's just okay with it I guess

I think 2012 actually had more to do with it. 2011, we both won one. We didn't play well at all in the Championship, but we could live with that.
Then 2012 happened. We seemed to have the upper hand all game. Thought we were going to win, only to lose in heartbreaking fashion. Made it feel like there was nothing more that could be done to break the magic spell Saban had put on us. Then it just got worse from there.
