Well I was never a hire Jimbo guy in the first place.

Hell, I don't even think there is an issue w/his overall scheme. If he'd let somebody else call plays on offense so can focus more on other things I might change my mind but we all know that's just never going to happen.

Yeah, you wanted Chad freaking Morris, so excuse us if we dont think your judgment/analysis is as spot on as it could be.

In the same breath I will agree with you here. I think this is the biggest rift between Jimbo supporters and haters right now. We all can agree his playcalling on gameday leaves something to be desired. Most of the other aspects of his coaching are good (recruitment, player development, etc.) but calling plays and adjusting on the fly is something he doesnt do well.

Us supporters have hope he will get the right guys in that can handle his complex system and he gets a little better at calling plays, maybe gets someone as a "consultant" or assistant to help out. I do agree that he probably wont hire an OC which would be the easiest fix to this problem.

Yall haters pretty much assume he will never change and we will continue to lose games with good talent because his offense is too sophisticated and we wont have the players.

I guess time will tell who is right. To me it does no good wailing and gnashing teeth about it right now because he's definitely not getting fired this year, probably not even next unless we go 2-10 or something. But if we dont get 10+ next year I will say his seat will be plenty warm. Yes the buyout is huge but I'm guessing if a change needed to be made they could do it within a year or two if need be. Plenty of big $$$$ Ags out there still. I am hoping we dont need that and build stability and double digit win seasons with Jimbo but hes got a lot to prove.
