Is it the routes?
Lack of acceleration?
They never seem to be wide open like other teams.

Until they learn to make each cut sharp and crisp .....drive DB's backwards then break and squat .....Smooth routes seldom work.

Are you new to Auburn football? It’s been that way all year.

I thought maybe time would help.
We don’t know gap control or pursuit angles on defense.
Our FG protection is weak.
6-7 looks like the record.

Shed had a helluva game. He went over 100 right. Kobe did well the previous game. I think WRs are starting to turn the cormer.

I’ll give them credit for catching the ball, but we never seem to get open.

They did a lot better getting open the weekend before.
TRob is the DB coach at USCe right? Time to bring him home.

I gotta agree. The OL and defense as a whole has regressed big time over the last several weeks.
Along with the two coordinators. We have two stud rbs and have blown multiple TD leads in two straight weeks. That's on defense and that's on not being able to put a game away by being able to lean on a defense and run it at them. Not as much yesterday, but there were key plays where we had no business throwing the ball when we were cashing them seemingly at will on the ground.

You're not going to win many games when you only score 3,0,6,3 points in the 2nd half of our last 3 games.
I do think it's the opponents D pressing more and making our QBs and WRs make tighter throws, and hard when WRs can't get open more easily.
Now SC's DBs are some of the best in the SEC, and it showed we struggled in the 2nd half as they figured out our routes and pressed more.
And TJ looked too much for too many down the field passing option IMO.

For sure. I don't think Auburn has played a complete game all season outside of the opener. If you'll recall the next week in the blowout of Al St, it was something like 10- at halftime and they busted it open in the 3rd qtr.
It's just the same old inconsistent BS we've witnessed for years. I'm not sure what the fix is, but it has to be fixed or we will be legit cellar dwellers for a long time.

It’s MINDSET.
Most of our players are soft.
