Puttboss? Heupel? Freshwater? The pirate? Beamer? Kirby? Dink?
Lots of overachievers out there this year.
My personal vote would be Pittman followed by Beamer given what they did with what they had. If Kirby wins it all, he's got a strong case too.

Eddy O for destroying so much talent in such a short time. That takes talent!

i've been leaning to beamer the past few weeks

He has done a good job but Florida stopped even attempting to care and Auburn was playing a backup qb yesterday

With what he had to deal with in the portal, he did well.

If we had beaten Mizzou… Beamer easy. IMO.

It's Pittman's to lose. He's been brilliant at Arky.
Heupel a close(ish) second.
Kirby has done very, very well, but he's a victim of his own previous success.

I said before the season that if we went 7-5 with our schedule and what was left after the Chad debacle he should be SEC Coach of the Year and possibly national coach of year. We have a shot at 8-4.
Heupel has been very impressive in turning around the Vols. I don't think their schedule is as rugged as ours was but he has done an incredible job up in the hills.
Those would be my two candidates. If Beamer knocks off Clemson put him in the mix as well. I think Drink is recruiting well enough he is positioning himself to be in the conversation next year.

Egg Bowl winning coach makes a good case.

Kirby or Pittman for me.

I’m thinking Leach. What a mess he inherited

That’s what I was thinking. If MSU beats Ole Miss, second in the West for the Pirate is a hell of a job.

It’s Kirby this year, let’s not kid ourselves. Kiffin is gonna get a thorough arse kicking to end his tenure in Mississippi, so it won’t be him. Pittman has lost too many games.

Sets up good for next year too. If we beat Ole Miss, it’s crazy to think that we were 8 points from being 11-1.
