It’s year # 4 and he still hasn’t done a damn thing deserving of his contract and definitely not the extension made prior to the season which was an absolutely horrible leadership decision.

In 3 1/2 years at aTm Jimbo has lost 13 games and will potentially go 8-4 this season when aTm loses its 7th straight game in Death Valley.

Can Aggies please give their insight on when do you call it quits on the most overrated coach in America? Or are you guys really just satisfied winning 9 games which is the best he’s done.

I happened to be reading the internet and an interview popped up where another dumb arse report was asking Jimbo If he was leaving. What’s funny to me is he’s never been offered anything nor is anyone trying to hire him! Why you may ask? It’s stated in my OP

So I really don’t understand….but it’s funny!

Fisher is bringing in a much better recruiting class. That is very important. If he wasn't doing that this year I wouldn't be happy.

Beating Bama, LSU and UT will allow him to stay at A&M as long as he wants.

Gus was able to do it for a while so why can't Fisher? Fisher as a better chance to improve with a much better recruiting class. But he needs to continue to keep recruiting at this level for 3 years so that the roster will be loaded and can compete with Alabama, LSU, and the rest of the SEC. It is hard to recruit top 5 classes every year. That is why he is building a better roster to compete at the next level up. If he failed after 3 good classes then might not be around at Texas A&M. It all depends if he can win the SEC division soon.

You should get a pass for not winning the SEC or national championship pretty much the entire time you're at A&M. Are we sure there's anyone could do it?

Beating Bama this year gives him a pass for the next 5 years. Look at Sumlin. Cashed in that win against Bama in 2012 and rode it for several more years.

Can you please explain how you calculated 7 straight games lost in Death Valley?

Fisher had way more serviceable players than Ole Miss given OM's injuries. This time of year, everyone has injuries but I would say Saturday night, OM was "out manned" but still made A&M look silly.
So what if he gets a great recruiting class. Apparently, he needs at least twice the talent of opposing teams to win.

Hahaha… who would have guessed, another Jimbo thread.

This is very low IQ, even for a troll thread.
This would embarrassing for anyone with any sense of pride.

The majority of dude's success came in the weak arse ACC where he had the most talent of any team in that conference.

Even his championship year, he faced 2013 Auburn who was vastly less talented and honestly, lucky to even be there.

Really, the only true upsets Jimbo has ever sprung were 74-72 vs LSU in 2018 and beating Bama this year.

Gus also won the SEC his first year and played in the NC game

He also played in the SECC in 2017.

So Gus won the SECW 2/5 years
Did both of those within his first 5 years of coaching at Auburn

The difference in LSU and Texas A&M programs over past 4 years was Joe Burrow. Jimbo should be 3-1 against LSU over those years when regular season ends.

I think Jimbo is either .500 or 1 game combined against Alabama, LSU and Auburn since taking the Texas A&M job. 2 of the teams had historically great seasons and won championship.
