Georgia LB Adam Anderson charged with rape; booked into Clarke County Jail after voluntarily surrendering

Georgia linebacker Adam Anderson is facing a felony rape charge in connection to an alleged early morning incident that occurred in Athens on Oct. 29.
Anderson voluntarily surrendered Wednesday evening to the Clarke County (Georgia) Sheriff’s Office, according to his his attorney Steve Sadow.
He was booked into the Clarke County Jail at 7:45 p.m, according the online booking report. He was being held without bond.
