Rant guide to discussing the Stetson Bennett crisis

This is a public service so new comers and regulars alike can navigate the dicey and ever moving goalposts of the Stetson Bennett crisis. Thank you and have a great day.
Allowed: Bennett lost to Bama last year!
Not Allowed: JT only scored 3 points against Clemson this year
Allowed: Bennett had nothing to do with the UF victory this year.
Not Allowed: Bennett led two 1 play drives during the end of the Q2 turnover flurry
Allowed: JT was hurt against Clemson this year, which is why he only scored 3 points.
Not allowed: Bennet continued to play against UF even though he had a serious injury last year. In fact, Bennett would rub Copenhagen on his pulled tummy muscle and go in the next series.
Allowed: Stetson has a weak arm
Not Allowed: JT has horrible mechanics which likely have lead to his catastrophic tummy muscle injuries.
Allowed: Stetson is Short and JT is tall.
Not Allowed: JT is slower than steam off shite on a cold morning and Stetson moves faster than the goalposts have during the Stetson Bennett crisis of 2021.
Allowed: Bennett was a walk on at one time at UGA
Not Allowed: Bennett went to JUCO, balled out and was offered numerous scholarships including one to UGA
Allowed: Bennett can’t beat a team with a pulse
Not Allowed: Bennett beat 3 ranked teams this year with double digit leads at halftime in every game as well as beating UF
Allowed: Bennett’s 2 interceptions against UF prove he is not good with protecting the football and making good decisions.
Not Allowed: JTs 10 INTs and 25 sacks his Freshman year prove he is not immune to bad decisions, nor is he particularly mobile.
Allowed: Bennett is just winning because our defense is so good
Not allowed: Bennett had us in both the UF and Bama games, but our defense could not stop them.
Allowed: Bennett sucks and needs to be benched for JT

Well done.
I would like to suggest one small addition to the guide.
Not Allowed: Do not pull for any player based on things you have in common. Ie home town, home state, etc

He was headed to the powerhouse known as Louisiana Lafayette before Fields entered the portal

A couple things...
I agree that Stetson is a baller.
I also think it's possible that JT is a better decision maker that sees the field better. But I don't think it's a given.

That's not how it works here. If you think JTD is the better qb then you are clearly shitting on Stet and if you think Stet is the better qb then you are clearly shitting on JTD. Those are the only options for some posters here.

Does it matter? I mean ignore the threads if they bother you. I have ignored threads about bar-b-q and other subjects that I don't care for.

I've never seen this whole thing as a discussion or a debate. I think the level-headed majority are on the same page.
Its more about the quit-n-bitch crew and the blindspot they for of how that comes across to the non-miserable year after year after year. So traps are laid. That could very well be true. If/when JT is physically and mentally ready to go back out there and be better than Stetson, I think nearly every Dawg fan would be on board. The low level people shitting on Bennett like spoiled kids who aren’t getting their way now is the core issue here. What a miserable existence it must be. We are lucky as hell he was on our roster in a season when we are trying to make a championship run and our original starter has been injured most of the year

We can win out in the regular season with Bennett no doubt. If we start Bennett vs bama in seccg there might not be a playoff. Damn sure ain’t going to win it all with him. Our schedule has set up pretty soft this year. There are some teams looming out there that can stretch the field and score a lot of points. Do I think this defense will hold any and all of them below their average? Yeah most likely. Do I think we can win a shoot out with Bennett? Realistically Probly not.

I didn't say I don't like bar-b-q. I said I don't like to sit on a message board and talk about it. Fwiw, all day Monday I smoked brisket on my smoker. Got me a Grilla Grill(Pellet) and love it. I smoke brisket and Pork Tenderloin. I just don't typically talk a whole lot about it. I have no problem with you guys having threads about it, though.

Regardless of the unnecessary dichotomy incited by some here, I was damned glad to see the fire in that kid’s (Stet’s) eyes, the way in which he handled himself, and the superior skill he put on display. All of that won us a natty and shut all the 1980’ers the Fock up.
