Would certain people on this board still shite on this kid? I get the love for Stetson Bennett the 111. He’s doing his job. I just wonder if it’s a thing though that certain people on the board want a South Georgia kid at qb instead. It’s kind of weird. I’m all for whoever can win it all btw. I think JT is a better qb though. “Let’s hide behind the chainsaws”…..etc etc. and all that bullshite.

It's a moot point. He wasn't, he didn't.

From what I've seen he has a higher ceiling than Bennett, but he's also been injured or 'banged up' pretty much the entire time.

Stetson, for better or worse has been available (even tried to gut it out in the second half of the Florida game last year).

Supporting the team and the starting QB is considered shitting on something by transplants and carpet baggers

Keep the scare on! We got em!

Based upon what? His rankings from high school?

Last seasons stats? because he compiled those against

Mississippi State
South Carolina
Missouri
Cincinnati
3 bad teams and a pretty good G5 team we beat with 12 players out.

I mean, we think JT Daniels is better. I feel like JT Daniels is better. But we brought him in here injured and he started the year out injured. We really don't have any hard data to show that at this point he is better.

That said, Bennett concerned me this past Saturday. He was careless with the football, which was his biggest problem in the past.

My feeling is either we let Kirby Smart coach or we fire him. I would like to see Kirby put Bennett on a short leash and give JT plenty of reps in the next 4 games. Have them both ready for the SECCG and playoffs.

Do I believe JT Daniels is the better option? I honestly don't know. Maybe? Probably? I don't know. I haven't seen him play against top flight competition because he has been hurt.

Why do you think he is definitely the best option?

I am not trying to be argumentative or even call you out. I just want to know what y'all have seen. We have only seen him play against weak competition. Against weak competition, Bennett has looked great too.

That's why I am for letting the coach make the decision. If we want to argue and second guess the coach then why do we have the coach?

These are honest questions. I am genuinely curious about what some are basing their opinions on and what they have seen in Daniels that they do not see in Bennett.

I get that the belief is Daniels can throw the deep ball, but Bennett has thrown the ball deep successfully, too. The throw he made to Kearis Saturday could not have been thrown better. I've seen both QBs throw deep balls. Some thrown well some not so much. both QB's have thrown deep where the WR's have had to slow down or come back for the pass.

So by not shitting on Bennett and actually supporting our QB and believing our coaches know who should be playing each week…people are shitting on JT?

The were the 2nd best defense we played last year. Both safeties were drafted and Ahmad Gardner is a legit AA corner and probably a 1st rounder.

They were a legit top 10 team.

Little bit disingenuous to call them a "pretty good G5 team" and JT almost threw for 400 yards against em.

Absolutely not! I think there is a certain guy who’s trying to make something personal on here that isn’t. Some people think if you want to give JT a chance to see if he makes us a better offense, then you aren’t happy with the teams success or coaches. Conflating these two things is disingenuous and intellectually lazy. I’m as happy as I have been in 40 yrs about our beloved Georgia Bulldogs. However, for some reason some people’s misery over being challenged on their opinions seems to compel them to double down and say that said people challenging their opinion are in fact the buzz killer mafia. Which seem ironic and a form of self projection.

Quite the opposite, there has been a contingent on here who have been miserable while Bennett has been in. Meanwhile, they know better than Kirbs. It is bizarre… and as a bonus, while we have had one of the best seasons in a generation, they find time to be miserable about the team. So, we have fun at their expense, as cucks deserve.

I mean if Stetson went to a high end prepschool in Cali and started for USC as a freshman and was 3 inches taller, but almost indestructible healthwise would you haters shut up?

I can see that… i still don’t think there is anything wrong with giving JT a shot. Especially if the way Stet played Saturday continues. I sincerely hope that if Stet stays in, he lights it up and sets records. However, for both his and our sake he doesn’t cost us in the long run. Hopefully Saturday was an off day. GO DAWGS!!!!

Theyve so thoroughly lost the argument and been exposed that they are now resorting to playing victim.

Doesn’t get anymore 2021 than this.

I want someone with an accurate and fast deep pass.

That isn't Bennett, no matter how much I cheer for him and appreciate his contributions. He is a hell of a competitor.

Really “guys??.

Team appears to be doing reasonably well.

JT doesn’t look miserable to me.

Maybe two capable QBs is a good thing once JT is healthy.

The idea that coaches desire to play a lesser qualified person for any reason other than maybe discipline baffles me.

Find misery somewhere else. Literally ranked #1 at this point in season for the first time in almost everybody’s life time.

Now..worrying about Tennessee down the road..or idk..Munson would find something good about Missouri..that’s tradition and acceptable.

Why can’t you just be happy Mr. Jefferson and respect someone’s opinion that differs from yours? You sound like Don Lemon on CNN. “Everyone is biased but me”. You have one of the most fragile egos I’ve ever seen. Get over yourself and have fun with this. From where I sit, this seems to be making you miserable.

Greatest era sine 1980-83 and these douches are still whining like bitches as if they know more than the man who got us here.

Shut up and enjoy the moment, what will be will be a qb.

All the presumption is fricking stupid.

Look at the YouTube link of kirbs presser I posted in the other thread. Then the comments. Look at how many horrible, miserable people we have in our fan base.
