I don’t think UGA would fall past 3rd. Heck, I’d rank them 2nd.

You’re right they wouldn’t want us to play again unless it was the natty.

Undefeated Oklahoma below a Michigan State team that lost to Purdue makes me so happy.

CFP rankings: Media floored by Michigan being ahead of Michigan State (247)

Michigan State should still be ranked ahead of Michigan, imo.

Nah.I dont think that.I am not really that impressed with Michigan of course either, and I believe,if healthy and on a neutral field, there are at least 7-8 teams in THE SEC I would take over them.

But Spart?7 of their wins have come over teams who are a combined 24-40,including a totally decimated at the time Miami.Michigan gave the game away to Spart when they played.

msu is terrible against the pass and dont really throw it all that well themselves. They have been as poor as anyone the last several years offensively, but have received a big shot in the arm this year with the Portal(Ronald Williams ring a bell-among others)and their Super-Seniors.

They have had better QB play from Thorne, and of course the Wake Forrest RB transfer KWalker has had a really fine year running it.But an outfit who has given up nearly 1700 yards passing in 4 games to Purdy,WKy,Michigan, and Nebraska? The 400 and change to McNamara and the over 250 to Adrian Martinez who spins it about as bad as anyone I have ever seen??

Nope.I aint buying.Them or Michigan.

There is a REAL good chance there could be 1,possibly 2,maybe even 3 Power-5 Conference champions that come out of the PAC-12,ACC,and the Big 14 with 3 losses What will the all-knowing Iowa Wizard and his minions do then?

Just an idle thought, what if Wake Forest still had K Walker? Would they still be undefeated and MSU completely out of the CFP? Very possible.

Even without Walker, Wake has a very productive offense, though their defense is a bit shaky. But MSU's success has heavily relied on Walker.

They will beat Arkansas at home. It won't be easy and KJ Jefferson will cause them all kinds of problems.
Then they will go on the road at AU and Bo Nix will look like the Heisman trophy winner. They will lose the game. It all depends on who plays UGA in ATL on which bowl game they end up in. I'm leaning towards the Citrus Bowl. We will see.

Thats a setup vote. The big 10 will shake itself out over the next couple weeks. Would be hilarious to see them knock each other off

Imo, commtte chairman Barta fails to justify ranking Michigan ahead of Mich St. It kinda makes me hope MSU wins out, including the B1G CG. It's also arguable that Okla St should be ahead of ND. So I also kinda hope OKla St wins out, including the Big12 CG.

It’s pretty simple, honestly. Michigan has a better SoS/Resumé. They’ve beaten 2 more FBS teams with a winning record than State, and while their loss is someone ranked in the top 10, State turned around and lost to what is currently an unranked Purdue team.

People seem to struggle with considering multiple data points at once
