i agree, but there just isn't really anyone out there right now that's willing to put in the time that Saban/Smart/Dabo/Day do. at least i can't think of one. in my opinion, mullen knows the Xs and Os. he just needs to get out of his mindset that he's the greatest to ever do it with nothing to show for it.
if he wants to leave, then leave. but replacing him whether we fire him or he leaves on his own is going to really suck for who we could get. i don't even know if kiffin can recruit like saban/smart.

I know this is the Gator board so this is not meant as an insult, but you guys are starting to sound like us at the end of the Richt years. He was still winning a ton of games but could never break the ceiling. Most of us were afraid to get rid of him because we were nervous about turning into Tennessee but once the band aid was ripped off it's been a fun ride. But there is always the risk of turning into UT or FSU but your admin seems to be better than either of theirs.
