The narrative has been Kirby's defenses(going back to bama) have difficulty with a dual threat QB. This guys is like 6'4 235 runs a 4.5. 5+ yds per carry and 8 yds per attempt going into the game. Saturday he gets 2.2 yds per carry, 4 yds per attempt. Forced fumble/took it away from him and 2 ints. Rating 44.9. WTG D

The D played great assignment football on him for most of the game.

Impressive numbers. Richardson is a tank and tough to bring down, but the D did an awesome job containing him / forcing some bad decisions.

I guess I haven’t watched much Florida I didn’t know they ran so many option plays with him. Our defense knew when it was coming and stayed with their man though.

You take away the dive plays with your lineman it makes stopping that stuff easier. Plus our speed on the outside and ability to tackle is just really really good.

The scariest dual Threat QB in the country is Bo Nix and it's not close. Dude is slippery as frick and our defense bottled him up quite well and got some good licks on him. The only other QB close will be Bryce Young but they play a much different style.
