The guy just can’t stay off Twitter. I hate to see raw talent leave but it’s time for him to move on. He’s clearly not listening to Saban or Metchie and buying in.

People who can't control posting their opinions on a teenager want the teenager to control posting his opinions on Twitter.

He doesn't have to stay off twitter and you don't get to choose when he moves on.

Maybe he was talking about an 8 am class.

Y’all need to stop following these kids tweets so much. Reading way too much into them.

"Patience kills more dreams the alarm"
barely makes sense.

I think he's confusing patience with idleness. Ironically, his actions have put him in a position where he is sitting idly by instead of honing his craft with some of the absolute best coaches, facilities, competition, and resources available to him. If he thinks that he has made it more likely that he will achieve his dreams, then he's mistaken

People are allowed to have random discussion about the players. You get so defensive lol

“But there’s one thing about quitters you have to guard against – they are contagious. If one boy goes, the chances are he’ll take somebody with him, and you don’t want that. So when they would start acting that way, I used to pack them up and get them out, or embarrass them, or do something to turn them around.”

Yeah and a teenager is allowed to express something that isn't happiness, joy and sunshine pumping.

Some guys get so defensive there.

I don’t think anyone said he can’t get emotional on Twitter like he has been. He can post whatever he’d like. He should probably just realize there’s consequences to that kind of immaturity and in the age of NIL, one would probably do best to protect their image

Whether or not he learns that at Bama, or somewhere else is up to how he continues to behave moving forward I imagine

Love when people choose when consequences should be and when they shouldn't.

In the end this is a learning experience for the kid and if he uses it correctly it will make him better.

If he’s distracting bamanation with only his tweets, I can only imagine how he is distracting the team in the locker room. I just hope he can find happiness whether that be at bama trusting the process or entering the transfer portal. I’m not trying to issue consequences. Just giving an opinion…

Yeah this isn't based in reality. For one as a player who cares what "Bamanation" is feeling when you are unhappy about your situation.

Secondly, if you ever played college ball heck high school there is always drama, some player unhappy, etc. This isn't distracting anything.

This is just grown ups obsessing over an emotional teenager.

Kid is mega immature...needs to either start going to class and practicing the right way or move on. Tough thing for him is even crappy lower tier CFB programs won't put up with academic or practice issues. He's basically up poop creek until he changes his loser/entitlement mentality.

Imagine, we have 18-20 year olds laying there life down for this country and this freaking kid can’t get over himself. He needs to tighten his arse up or move on. Period.

Nah, he just needs to work hard and do what Saban asks.

BTW, if you can't emotionally handle teenagers being teenagers maybe you should stop following wha they do.

I think the "Saban needs to be starting Hall" threads have elevated everyone's radar to the situation.

In the past it would be a simple "trust the process, he needs to buy in to play, etc."

I don’t have any social media. I’m responding to the thread wise arse. Are there any young “men”, and I do use men softly, that can go a day without posting on social media? I’d say no.

Its America, freedom of speech etc etc.

Like someone else said people are reading too much in this. This may be about other issues ongoing in his life yall know nothing about.

This is how young people vent nowadays. It's just what they do. He may not have anyone he can confide in.
