Saw this video on YouTube. The story teller is former Navy Seal John B. Allen or a.k.a. Mr. Ballen. He tells stories (true/fake) on YouTube and he just uploaded this story last week. If you got about 45 minutes to spare, give it a listen.

I was staying in my fraternity at the time, but went to stay with some friends at Oxford Manor for a bit. Scary times.

Just missed him being there. I was doing 2 years at the community college after getting out of the Army and started at UF a little after that time.

Was there finishing Dental School. Had several classmates that lived in the old Gator Woods complex. Both were women and terrified to go home.
Wife and I had our condo sold to a father of an incoming freshman and he pulled out and decided to keep his daughter home for the semester.
