Did Texas A&M end the 100 game unranked streak? Technically, yes.

But...

Texas A&M has been ranked in 23 of the 24 polls dating back to 2019.

Texas A&M was Top 10 in 17 of those 24 polls.

The ONLY week Texas A&M has been unranked since 2019 is the week they happened to play (and beat) Alabama.

Of course we blew it and shouldn't have lost that game. But I found it kind of funny how that became the headline:

"#1 Alabama falls to unranked Texas A&M, ending 100 game streak vs. unranked opponents."

It's about as much of an asterisk as you could come up with in this situation.

They were ranked right after playing us too. Will be interesting to see where they finish the season. If they are still ranked then , how can anyone say we lost to an un-ranked team? I mean this is not La-Monroe.

Honestly, I hated that streak as to how it's done. Or at least didn't care about it.
Beating the #26 team holds more water than beating any FCS team, for example.

Despite that the streak is based on a team being "unranked" when you play them, TAMU was 27th in the AP poll and 26th in the Coaches. ULM wasn't even in the top 50, and Alabama was sitting at 34th in the AP poll with 4 losses already

So technically yes this highly nuanced streak was broken...by a team that missed being ranked by just 71 points. For added context, the difference between being #1 (currently UGA) and #2 (currently Iowa) is 74 points.
