King comes back and we salvage an 8 win type season and somehow pull out a W in Baton Rouge. Then Texas goes on to drop a couple more (starting with this weekend).

A&M/Texas in the Texas Bowl. $500 tickets for a 3rd rate bowl between us would be the perfect end to 2021.

Well, we may hit 2 of the 3.

King is not coming back this season

The game in BR is up in the air which is typical

tu lost to a 1-8 Kansas tonight

We will not play tu in a bowl game unless it’s for the big enchilada. The powers that be on both sides won’t allow it to happen

We may get stuck w/Baylor in the Texas Bowl though.

I have zero faith in Calzada at this point. Hoping King can play the bowl game after a month of preparation

I will troll you guys on the SEC rant but this your house and I will respect it as such. Questions. How do Aggie fans honestly feel about Jimbo ? Is the arrow pointing up or down ? If you had your druthers, would you prefer someone else and who would it be ?

As for the train wreck in BR, yes. It's a total train wreck under O.

Still think he’s easily a top 10 coach in college football, arguably in the top 5. Needs help calling plays on the offensive side of the ball which he stubbornly won’t do.

Yes we had high hopes to start this season but when our starting qb went down we’ve had to readjust.

My belief is the arrow is still pointing up. We are more consistent and competitive than under Sumlin who would get blown out of games and wasn’t recruiting as well. Jimbo has had some good classes and if the current one sticks together it should be really, really good.

It’s funny to troll LSU fans right back thinking if they somehow stole him from us he’d be a terrible hire, but I see half your peers have turned on Riley after one loss so that tells me all I need to know about the IQ level there.

Although I’ll say I don’t think he’s as good of a coach as many people seem to think, he took over from stoops who already had that program rolling and they play in the weakest P5 conference. But you don’t change your mind about hiring a coach after just one game, you either like the resume or you don’t.

There’s no other good defensive coordinators in all of college football?

But yes, most head coaches need good coordinators around them to be successful. I’m glad you realized Elko is contributing to the team we currently have.

A&M has EVERYTHING except the QB. King and Weigman on the clock next year, and seriously Weigman is the best QB I’ve seen in a long time. Much bigger than King as well

We will be fine next year.

Next year we have to rebuild the defense.

We lose Leal, Clemons, Peevy, Johnson, Hansford, O'Neal and likely Richardson.

We also lose the entire left side of the OL...although losing Johnson might be addition by subtraction.

Wydermyer is gone and Cupp has shown nothing at all to indicate he isn't a mirage.

Finally, we have to break in a new kicker.

Rebuild.

The OL will be way better - lose Green but everything except for one of the tacke spots looks great. Some great options
TE will be fine. Wydermyer has been a disappointment
WR is fine as well. Expect to see more of Demas, and Yulkeith next season
RB fine as well

QB has to be better

DL will take a minor step back but a ton of talent to work with
LB will be fine - Cooper the leader next year
Secondary will be fine as well

Yep, just need to fix QB

It shows the vulnerability in a program that has a four year starting QB like Mond. There is not a pressing need to recruit a person to challenge your starter. Instead you get QBs who are serviceable as backup. But when the four year QB is gone you turn to the inexperienced RS freshman or in the case of Calzada, the serviceable backup. It seems intriguing to develop a two QB system. But I know teams rarely do that.

Never seen this many injuries and our offense is a bit in the shitter but Daronte Jones suddenly becoming tGOAT has kept us in games.

You will be playing for bowl eligibility and to win Ed Orgeron's last game.

We will be playing Zach Calzada at quarterback.

Assuming we don’t get ULM’d

Honestly even if we finish 6-6 i hope we don’t go to one, no need to have O lingering around another 4-5 weeks
