I think Stoops has established himself as one of the better coaches. Kentucky gave him time, and with it, he has turned them into a solid football team. I could definitely see other schools come knocking, and he would be successful sooner rather than later if he inherits a decent roster. My neighbor is a diehard Penn St fan … he thinks Franklin may leave for USC, and if that were to happen, also seems to think Fickell and Stoops would be at the top of their board.

If Stoops did leave - I wonder if Neal Brown would still be at the top of Kentucky's wish list ?
