Iowa’s QB is hitting kids in stride, Oline keeping a clean pocket, receivers not forgetting to be on the field. Kirk never recruits high, but that guy gets his team playing disciplined football.

I would also say that the 4 turnovers and the short field helps them out also...

Yes, turnovers also very few penalties. Disciplined football

Ferentz and his guys are great evaluators, they're really good at finding guys playing out of position and converting them, especially guys from small schools.

Off his first Orange Bowl team in 02, Bob Sanders came to Iowa as a 3* RB from NJ, Dallas Clark came as a LB from a HS in South Dakota so small they only had 7 on 7. Robert Gallery came in as a skinny TE. Brad Banks, who was runner up to Carson Palmer for the Heisman, spent a year playing WR in CC before coming to Iowa
