I agree. I mean he stills has some fun with his mouth now but he plays it a little closer to the vest and is more measured.

Lane was a clown. Pretty much an overall douchebag born in third base, thinking her but a triple. But as he's gotten older, he's been humbled. He's not a kid anymore. Life's slapped him around a little bit, and that seems to have matured him.
