It's not just smoke but he's a big part of the problem on the back end. We have had 3 or 4 plays were a defender isn't in the frame of a WR catching a ball.

Smoke needs to add pounds and play Linebacker. He reminds me of Thomas Davis for Georgia/Carolina Panthers. He’s a downhill guy who will lay a hit. He doesn’t have the feet for secondary coverage.

He gets easily confused on who to cover.
What pisses me off about him..........he will get burned half a dozen times. A QB will overthrow a WR he is in the vicinity of and Smoke will do a throat slash like he accomplished something.
