This is so true.
We were DOMINATING them. At one point in the game I was thinking that our backups were gonna play the whole second half.
We let up on our intensity, and they basically ran the read option on every play, and forced our defense to defend the run for 3 quarters, which they didn't do very well.
But when we needed a drive to close out the game, we drove down and scored a TD.

Florida’s first two games in terms of competition didn’t really prepare them for the force that Bama came out with early.

I think even Gary Danielson said that. Plus, Florida, just like Bama is starting a ton of young players. Once Florida settled down after the first quarter, they played a lot better.
