He’s playing MLB for them. He’ll be an OLB for us.

Sounds as if our coaching staff feels like he is very underrated because he barely played last season.
I typically hate saying stuff like this because it is an over used statement when a team gets a lower rated recruit, but from what I have read, this is the case with him. Our coaching staff does a pretty good job of evaluating OLB types, so....

And I believe Cedar Grove is known to recruit a player or two.Always loaded with D1 talent.

Maybe. Or maybe Alabama just beat us recruiting him. Or maybe we didn't evaluate him properly. I don't know.
I do remember I wanted us to go after him. He went to the high school my son graduated from, although a few years behind my son.

Yeah Georgia misevaluated and had Sherman higher rated. When they realized Will was better it was too late. The GOAT had him on lockdown.

This is a weird year for UGA recruiting. Per player average rating is down two full points from 2021 or 2023. We are grabbing a ton of 3* guys.
