In fairness he is excellent at working the system. Every year he starts talking about leaving so he can get a big raise and/or extension and more often than not it works.

This is a big year for him, imo. If he comes through and wins big he can name his price. If he fails it could spell trouble. I doubt Florida gives him big raises year after year without winning the SEC.

Only if some NFL owner is totally stupid. Coaching grown men is a lot different that coaching kids. Not to mention the NFL requires much more precise execution that college.

Are you stupid?

Florida PPG average under Dan Mullen

2021 38.5
2020 39.83
2019 33.23
2018 35

4 year average: 36.64

Georgia during same time frame

2021 33
2020 32.3
2019 30.8
2018 37.9

4 year average: 33.5

And Fla has to play LSU every year, what powerhouse does Ga face in the West every year?

Florida doesn't have the offense to beat Bama this year.

Now do it against conference foes only.

So it is your opinion that you should compare your offense against Georgia's?

True, but LSU is known for offense, not defense.

Auburn. We also play GT, who has been pretty decent until recently, While Florida typically plays other lower tier Florida schools for OOC. No offense meant to Florida, but it was not too long ago we were all laughing at the ineptness of their offense.....they were, too. McIlwaine? Muschamp?

No. Mullen's offense is predicated on strategies he learned while playing NCAA 2000 on playstation with Virginia Tech. He hasn't graduated to Madden yet.

True. It's been a while since Auburn has only won 50% of their games in a season. And thye have more wins that LSU so far this season, and look to be better than LSU this year. Yes, LSU had 2019, but even then your defense was hardly the star of the show.

You posit that Florida doesn't have an offense yet for the past 3 years we've scored more points per game than Georgia.

Now you want to start putting qualifiers on that.

Ball doesn't lie.

Florida plays Georgia every year.

I guess you're right, our schedule is full of shitty teams.

Who said Georgia's offense has been good the past three years? And no....I didn't say Florida's offense has not been good the past three years. I said Florida's offense has not been consistently good. And, I stand by that statement. 3 straight years would not constitute consistency to me. I would have to check down about 10 years for consistency.

If you want to use ONLY a 3 year window? Yes. Florida's offense has been good for three straight years.

What qualifiers did I put on there?
A reasonable amount of time to say consistent?

You are a strange person. Where did I say Florida plays bad teams? I did insinuate that georgia plays as tough and maybe tougher schedule than Florida. Would you like for me to prove it?

The best way is to compare OOC games, since we (SEC teams) all play essentially the same schedule within devisions. (^ divisional games + 2 cross divisional games that are rotated) OOC we have played ND, Clemson and several other big name teams in addition to GT.....all P5 teams. Normally Florida plays FIU, South Florida etc.....typically other Florida smaller schools. You did play Georgia Southern one year (Not flaming as we did, too) I think Florida also plays FSU a lot, too.

ETA
We have also played #5 Boise State and North Carolina and Clemson 2 times before this year in the past 8-9 years. If Florida has played teams that can match up against those in OOC (Not Bowl games) then put them down. I will listen.

What this Ga fan is embarrassed to say is that Ga doesn’t have an offense at all.
