Apples and oranges. Not a single transfer off the football team was a player looking at guaranteed starting time next season with the exception of maybe Billingsley and we all know why he transferred.
Losing Lord, Goodnight, and Bloodworth would be more comparable to say Brooks, Turner, and Kool-aid hitting the portal the week after the national title game. If that had happened you can bet people would be questioning Saban and why he let 3 probable starters walk out the door.

You definitely saw more in those three players than I did . I hate to lose anybody off any team really but I don’t see those three being missed at all. Goodnight was good defensively but other than that , they are very replaceable
