That waay too many freshmen leaving the program; freshmen who had significant playing time and did pretty well. Circumstantial evidence points to Murphy having his favorites and riding others asses while not coaching them up and putting them in position to succeed. If I had a coach bitching about my performance but not teaching me how he wants it done, I’d leave too. Losing Goodnight will certainly sting. She was a pretty damn good CF and swung a good bat for this team. That’s a lot of holes to fill from the portal. Murphy may be digging his own grave if this keeps up.

See I think that is a fair criticism and concern. Too many people view any kind of criticism of Murph as over the line for some reason. I know he basically built the program but its also fair to question his current decision making the past few seasons without viewing it as some kind of attack on his past accomplishments.

I most certainly didn't want to lose Goodnight nor Bloodworth but at the end of the day they don't want to be here.

Kids are built different nowadays as well as the parents. They hate to really be coached and they most definitely don't like being patient. (Microwave society)

Give me whoever wants to be here... people quit when the going gets tough nowadays.

Jenna Johnson tweeted something that I caught on to and that's the word LOYALTY!

Umm...makes me wonder who was already stepping out during the season.

And you know this how? You been to practice to see him not coaching the players ? Amazing such a poorly coached team could finish 2nd in the toughest league . The fact of the matter is other teams practice, scout, have good players too. It’s not just Bama and Florida anymore. Teams across the country are putting money and resources into SB like never before . Teams like VT and UCF have come out of nowhere and I think 5 unranked teams made it to supers . We had a young team this year and still were basically top 5 all year long. Don’t understand the sky is falling crowd at all

Btw. I am in no way saying Murphy shouldn’t be questioned on his decisions. Hell I question ALL coaches decisions at times . I want a team full of sluggers like OU with a little speed mixed in too but that’s not what we have .
