So a team who was 31 games over .500 and a National seed for the umpteenth time is time for a change? Seems to be working effectively just need some tinkering . Bet LSU and several teams across college SB wish they had him and our problems
Like I said … be careful what you wish for . Will be interesting in this thread when he does leave and new coach doesn’t have immediate big time success

KB and the other girls on the team didn’t get along very well.
Yea just wondering what the beef was . She seems salty for sure

And who would you like to see as coach?
Here's my thing with Murph. He's not a good developmental coach or a good in-game coach. But he is an elite recruiter. He brings in elite talent and that talent wins games. But I've always wondered if it's really him that sells these girls to come to Bama or if it's just the program. We have the best stadium in the country, a rabid fan base that sells out home games, and all the support you could ask for. Maybe we'd still get elite recruits with a different coach who could actually you know coach.

All the players who come to Bama rave about Murph. Not saying they don’t like Bama but he is a big reason they come here.
He needs to shake up the staff for sure though

Sounds like Bloodworth is gone.
Woodard too. Like I said earlier , back in the day when I played college ball you had end of year meetings about playing time , scholly money, etc. . There may be more leaving. Don’t know if it’s on there end or Murphy’s end but change is a coming

Kilfoyle's parents live down the street from me. If I had to guess she's transferring USF where her brother plays football

CONFIRMED: Megan Bloodworth has entered the transfer portal — the 6th @AlabamaSB player (3rd Fr.) in the last two days to announce. Bloodworth joins Savannah Woodard, Abby Doerr, Lexi Kilfoyl, Dallis Goodnight and Jenna Lord.
2022-23 Crimson Tide has 16 players w/ the 3 commits.

I mean the ones who stay do. But starting with KB and Skylar we're starting to see a little disturbing trend. He's not running off bench warmers or depth pieces. He's running off players who would start for us the next season. Lord, Goodnight, and Bloodworth would all be starting next season.

Lexi would be considered a starter but the fact she has not been healthy for the entire last 2 seasons may not hurt Bama that much if a quality replacement is found

I mean it’s just the lay of the land in college athletics these days and I personally don’t like the portal but it is what it is . I am sure OSU and UT were upset when Prange and Shipman left . We will find players who want to be here . Shouldn’t be a problem

Because he's one of the girls. ALL OF THEM DON'T!

If you say so. I just think it's signs of some sort of problem when you have multiple players hitting the portal for reasons other than playing time. I get a girl who's stuck on the bench or been passed up for younger talent leaving. But players who would be the core of the team for the next 3 years? Especially with Fouts, Shipman, and Prange in their last season next year.

Maybe the freshmen coming in scared them, maybe Murphy encouraged them to leave IDK. Like I say, Goodnight was a good CF with bit much power but the others didn’t show me the potential to be special . Oh well, hope we have a great season next year

i thought shipman an prange were seniors. They coming back?

Yea they coming back. Their tweets were in this thread a page back I think

Yes sir exactly. Being scared of change is no excuse. They’ll take another step back next year and without MF for team 28 yikes. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Murph retire after she leaves. The game has passed him by.

Ok. Maybe he will and you will be happy. If I was going to leave it would prolly be when she left too ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Murphy will never change. Having 200 + pound hitters in lieu of in shape conditioned players is a major flaw in his, damn, don’t give him a hint, whatever…
Posted on 5/24/22 at 8:53 pm to LATIDER
Only 200 pound plus player I saw was KJ and she never played although she had a big hit Sunday…. Would have loved to have had Hemphill’s 200 pounds this year though
