The returns have been good thus far. I am still concerned about recruiting. Let’s see how he does once all the players that Gus and company recruited are gone.

Gus recruited well outside of his last class. If Harsin’s guys can recruit classes ranked around Gus’ rankings then y’all have nothing to worry about. Auburn can not bring in classes in the 20’s and expect to compete with nearly 6 other SEC teams with better classes + Texas & Oklahoma.

I’ll have to agree with you on this. I think Harsin like all other SEC coaches has an uphill climb recruiting against Sabin and Kirby and it’s harder for Auburn being in the midst of the two. I think he can bring in some top ten classes but it may take a year or two.

Gus recruited like Chiz did. High rankings. When Chiz left we didn't have a LB worth a damn. Gus left the OL in a bad place. Rankings are all well and good, but when you have serious positions of need that aren't addressed, those rankings mean nothing.
