Stuff that obvious lie back up your arse where it came from. Israeli data: How can efficacy vs. severe disease be strong when 60% of hospitalized are vaccinated?

From your link: “However, while these numbers are true, to quote them as evidence for low vaccine effectiveness is wrong and misleading.”

Translation: it’s true that vaccinated people are dying, but let me make a list of excuses for why the vaccine is effective.

Lol

You need to move on, man. Over 90% (maybe now over 95%) of Israel's population over the age of 65 have been vaccinated. Those same people are also the most susceptible to severe disease and death. Some people in this group will still die because they remain the most at-risk and when almost 100% of them have been vaccinated, it's kinda hard to have anyone die that isn't vaxxed. It's called numbers......again, basic statistics. It's been explained ad nauseam and some of you are too thick-headed to get it.

We understand. You want all the fat, diabetic, hypertensive folks to reverse their health trajectory before they get sick. This will save them all. Good luck with that realistic plan of yours.

You have trouble with math. The Israeli numbers show that the unvaccinated were 3.1 times more likely to incur severe disease. Pfizer vaccine was 67.5% effective against severe disease now that its efficacy has declined. The vaccine still prevents over 2/3 of severe cases.
