Do you think to get them earlier, that he offers them a cross conference game for each of the 8 schools left? Tell them you cannot have the top 4 and we won’t give you the bottom 4 but you get the middle 8.

It’s possible. But, I expect to be there in the fall of 2022. I also expect Texas to pay OU’s $75MM. The Longhorns will say that they won’t pay our portion, but I think we leverage their arse.

I still don't believe the other 8 are going to stand pat. The first sign of a West Virginia/Iowa State going elsewhere and the big 12 is over.

Texas should have to pay for everything after all the money they made from that crap LHN.

With Bama and Auburn moving East, or a pod system being adopted, there won’t be cross division opponents. You might have a permanent pod opponent, like A&M and tu will be, but it won’t be anything more.

Alabama already plays them in 2022 and 2023.

Not sure how you get the middle 8 without getting a few of the top or bottom 4... check the maths ;). But I know that OU already has Georgia in Norman in 2023 and Tennessee in 2024.

It is not a bad ideal really for the SEC to form this type of alliance with the Little 8...

First, you basically lock in Texas recruiting in a big big way...I mean this will put a wall around the state big time.

Second, some of those games could bring some decent revenue, who wouldn't want to watch TCU or Okie State take on Goliath from the SEC and maybe have a shot to beat them? It's like David vs. Goliath, who doesn't like that story?...Plus, you already have the familiar rivalry games that will get a lot of TV viewership like OU/ Okie State or Texas/ Okie State..

Third, there is some decent coaching in the Big 12, and they take some lower rated recruits and turn some of them into studs...Some of those studs could want to hit the transfer portal after 2 to 3 years at lowly little 8 school, and go play in the big time SEC to improve their draft potential. It could be like the little 8 becomes a form out league for the SEC...

Just saying their could be some positives there for the SEC, and increased revenue for the little 8, of course...

The addition of tu and OU smells to high Heaven. The SEC will rue the day they let tu in this league, and I worry about the league’s longevity knowing that they have been poisonous to the stability of every league they have ever been a member of. This entire move was orchestrated by ESPN.

The XII will not last until 2025. Kansas and someone else will join the B1G and they will go to 16. Notre Dame will join the ACC in football, and they will hold their nose and finally take West Virginia also.

That will leave Tech, Baylor, OSU, KSU, TCU and maybe ISU to form a nucleus and create a strong mid-major. Do they raid the Mountain West for CSU, Boise and Air Force? Do they get Houston, Memphis, Cincy and UCF? They will have options - it just won’t be the PAC.

ESPN/SEC will have Texas/Oklahoma in before 2025. We will be kicking y'all's asses by no later than 2023.
