LSU Has Another Mess to Clean Up

Once again, LSU is being called upon to clean up a mess caused by another SEC program. We all remember how the last few went, but let's take a trip down memory lane.
The UCF Debacle
Who could forget the 2018 Peach Bowl? After losing to Georgia in the SEC Championship game, #7 Auburn was set to play unbeaten #12 UCF. I think we remember how that turned out.
How LSU Cleaned It Up:
One year later, LSU was tasked with playing UCF who was still unbeaten and riding a 25-game win streak. How did that turn out?
Final: LSU 40 UCF 32
And how about...
The Texas Travesty
#5 Georgia, after a heartbreaking loss to Alabama, was resigned to playing in a non play off bowl game. The dawgs were paired up with #15 Texas. And, well....
How LSU Cleaned It Up:
It wasn't long until another SEC team had a shot against the horns. Week 2 of the 2019 season, LSU traveled to Austin, and this happened:
Final: LSU 45 Texas 38
and last, but not least:
The Clemson Conundrum
After the 2018 season, 14-0 Alabama was headed to the National Championship. Saban had his eyes on another title, but the football gods had other plans.
How LSU Cleaned It Up:
Fast forward one year. Clemson is going for a 30-game win streak and its second National Championship win over an SEC program. However, the real tigers would not be denied.
Final: LSU 42 Clemson 25
So at this point you may be asking, what mess has LSU got to clean up now? Well let me remind you about...
The UCLA Embarrassment
For this one we go back to the year 2017. Texas A&M travelled to the Rose Bowl for an SEC-Pac 12 matchup. The Aggies took a commanding lead and everything seemed great.
But the unthinkable happened and UCLA rallied back.
So, here we are, mere days away from the 2021 College Football season. And it looks like LSU has another mess to clean up in Pasadena, California on September 4th.
Now to my SEC brethren who have read this far, I only have one question. Are you ridin with the tigers? Because we ridin.

Solid effort here. But, if LSU were to somehow lose that game, this will be the first thread bumped.

We here at LSU are used to cleaning up SEC messes. That’s just how we roll. Some say it’s because we are selfless . Others say it is because we are awesome. I think it’s both. Of course we are also boyishly charming and remarkably good in bed . Women adore us and other men respect us and little children want to grow up to be us.. But we all know this so because I embody an innate uniquely LSU humility , I won’t bore you with the obvious…

Well, this could get awkward.

But I'm all in on LSU winning this game. Taking a trip to Vegas that weekend and gonna drop some cash on the good guys.

LSU should win this game by 3 or 4 touchdowns. You just never know. Hope you enjoy the trip.
