They have the jimmies and joes but not the xs and os. They will out talent a lot of teams but they have, probably, the worst OC/DC in the entire SEC.

9-3 is the actual record A&M strives for. They dont win championships , they dont win divisions. They win Orange bowls SOMETIMES.

They do have the best red bull HC in the SEC. Unfortunately, the red bull season ends in August.

This factor is likely 2/3 of the equation. They have #6 Team Talent. Most of the time, the jimmies and joes make up for the xs and os.
In fact, most of the time, the difference between 2 teams is the talent level at one or two key positions.
