It is more than just how we finished and what we did. Its about the situation Auburn is in that no other team in College football faces right now.

You have the goat program with the goat coach 1 hour north controlling everything. They have 70% of the states fanbase, 70% of the control so that is a big mountain to climb.

Then there are the programs that surround Auburn that are "State based programs". Which Auburn is not


Plus Auburn consistently faces a top 5 schedule. I still contend that Auburn is a overachiever based on the situation it is in.

We have seasons that we underachieve but that is because that bar is raised at times and reached. It is just not sustainable.

I remember being so mad at yall for firing Chiz because I didn't think a program should throw away a national title winning coach so quickly.

But I will be damned that not only was that the right move, it was the sort of aggressive move that lets Auburn overachieve.
