Does this only include regular season games?

It makes sense for Auburn who had to play Bama and Georgia every year.

But how is Bama so high when they don't play a team equal to themselves and play Tennessee every year?

I would assume this includes all games. Bama has played in a lot of SEC championship, BCS and playoff games those years.

Oh, I know, but doesn't that kind of negate the purpose of ranking SOS?

I don't need rankings to tell me Clemson in the NC game is a tougher opponent than Northwestern in the Outback Bowl. And then if you're playing for the NC game, you obviously had two tough opponents in the semi-final and conference championship. That just further dilutes the regular season SOS.

Just kinda feels pointless to include post-season games and then compare Alabama and Arkansas.
