What is the next shoe to drop in conference realignment?

Barrett Sallee on ESPN this morning said he expected the Pac 12 to immediately start contacting Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and other Big 12 teams.
I'm not sure about that, but the Pac 12 is certainly limited on prospective new members, which is why they haven't expanded to 14 like most of the other major conferences.
The ACC and Big 10 will make immediate moves to expand to 16 as well. Who will they add?
The 12 team playoff makes it easier for Notre Dame to make the playoffs as an independent, so I don't see them joining a conference. (The P5 conferences should have made it hard for independents to qualify, forcing Notre Dame and BYU into conferences).
I assume all Big 12 members are free agents at this point. Will the Big 12 expand or die?

I don't think Notre Dame can be any higher than the fifth seed without conference affiliation.

When SEC is making the rules they better get their asses in a conference

Other than WVU there's really only Cincinnati (who I don't know if ACC wants) and Notre Dame (who I don't know if they want ACC). Big Ten fricked everything up geographically when they took Maryland and Rutgers

The decent schools have all been taken. You don't get "better" by taking low level teams.
ACC is already at 14 1/2 schools. WVU isn't giving you anything that it didn't when you turned them down 10 years ago and chose Louisville and Pitt.
Kansas only plays basketball in a football world. Plus their basketball programs is as corrupt as you can find.

ACC is kind of fricked because they are stuck in a shitty TV deal for 15 more years that pays half what the SEC and Big 10 get.
They will be looking for a way to blow up that deal and start over, which anything short of adding Notre Dame will be had to accomplish.
I look for the ACC to try to add Notre Dame and rob a Big 10 team, maybe Penn State or try and get Maryland back. The ACC hates WVU for some reason, maybe due to Pitt rivalry, so not sure they are an option. Would certainly make geographic sense.
The Pac 12 won't take religious schools, so Baylor and TCU are kind of screwed.
