Kansas is almost certainly Big Ten- the rest depends entirely upon Notre Dame

The big 10 have 4 spots to add right so taking kansas for basketball would seem to be smart assuming the ncaa is still around to run it. the other 3 spots are what's interesting

Rumors I’ve heard recently:
Notre Dame and Penn State to the ACC
Rutgers being effectively booted from the Big 10
Kansas, K-State, and Iowa St to the Big 10
Pac 12 vetting TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech, Boise St, BYU, etc for potential expansion.
Cincinnati, BYU, Boise St, Memphis, Tulane and/or ULL to the Big 12
Mizzou being recruited by Big 10, especially Nebraska
Maryland having buyer’s remorse in Big 10
Florida St and Miami reaching out to SEC.

Everything is happening so quickly, it's going to be hard to keep up with everything that is going on. In four years college football may be unrecognizable.
This was all inevitable though I guess. Now it is imperative to do what's best for our conference and our respective schools.

Big Ten is at 14 teams now: Penn State was 11, Nebraska 12, Rutgers/Maryland 13-14.
If Notre Dame stays put or goes to ACC, they'll reach out to Missouri who will probably turn them down. Who knows where they go from there, and if this turns into an ACC raid, this becomes a much bigger mess

Honestly there's a huge potential for cfb to feel more normal after this than it does now, at least for a lot of teams. As far as rules/governing bodies/championships go, you're right

The less Vanderbilts in major conferences the better

Thought the ACC was somewhat defended from getting poached to longer term tv deals?

The Red River Shootout will never be moved out of October. It coincides with the State Fair of Texas which is held the last week of September through the middle of October.

The SEC currently is hoping to vote to offer invitations to Texas and Oklahoma as soon as "sometime next week," an SEC source tells me. "The vote will be 13-1
