How much TV revenue would Texas and OU add realistically?

Is there a way to find out? I don’t know why a school would vote no if their additions brought in 10+ million a year.

A bajillion.

Put it like this, LSU may finally be able to build a decent hoops arena and fix the new ShitBox.

I’m sure with UT/OU in the SEC that the SEC would end up signing the biggest tv contract of all time.

With the playoff expanding and OU/Texas apparently willing to kill of the big 12 someone is going to 16 teams in the near future. If OU and Texas are worth having, then they are worth having in the SEC. if they go to the ACC who is viable to sell to the SEC to go to 16 or 20?

So again I ask, why the frick would any school realistically vote no? These schools only care about money. Texas and OU bring a lot of it to the table.

Said this in another thread, but honestly I'm not sure it even matters what anyone "wants."

As usual, when the dominoes start falling, it will likely come down to television markets and money.

It would net more, because of existing shite schools like Miss St bring in basically nothing.

It would be substantial. The SEC may have a presence in TX, but it doesn't have a presence in the UT fanbase that is massive and untapped.

UT is no. 1 in revenue every year for a very, very good reason.

No one. That’s why I think the SEC has to add them while we can. $$$ is all that matters anyways.

I’m not following you.
The Houston market is the Houston market—regardless of how many orange fans tune in.

Mississippi State is a very valuable football program in the SEC.

I don’t understand what Mississippi State has to do with this thread. You’re a shite troll

You should take pointers from Duddly. He is much better.

UGAs last big 3 championship was 1990 in baseball. UGAs claim to collegiate sports fame is a 1980 joke.

It would need to be a significant amount of money to offset them joining and splitting revenue. And screw texas.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. We're fine the way it is IMO.

I could be mistaken here, but to your point, is Houston the only city in TX with horn fans?

UT would bring many many more viewers in Austin, Dallas/FW, San Antonio, and elsewhere. This would be financially substantial to the SEC.
