I think State is the 2nd most historical baseball program in the SEC, even above South Carolina and Vandy who each have two titles. State has the history and the fan base to make them the second most historical.

South Carolina was national runner up twice in the 1970's, went to Omaha 3 times in the 1980's, 3 times in the 2000's and won 2 titles and was national runner up in the 2010's. We've been a top tier baseball program for 50 years.

I think most college baseball fans(including me before I researched this topic) believe that USC had a flash-in-the-pan run from 2010-2011
and just don't know that they have been a really strong program since the 1970's.

I also had no idea that Kentucky has never even been to the CWS.

I also didn't know that Aggie has 6 CWS appearances and has two wins(2-12 .143). But this makes total sense if you anything about the history of aTm.

Thank God for Bobby Richardson. He built it.
