He implemented a 10% budget reduction in the first year he was here. He fired multiple AD department staff. Nothing AD Greene has done seems to moving AU forward. Is a peanut counter when money is flowing out of the coffers. He may be relatable to the players on the different teams but what the hell does that do?

AuSteeler Greene was on the War Rapport a couple weeks ago and had decent discussion and the recruiting budget came up. Greene was very noncommittal about it… essentially saying if you want more recruiting budget you have to move money from other areas from the football allotment.

I tend to agree with you but I wonder what Greene's instructions were when he was hired? Was he told to not spend and to reduce cost? Who knows.

Even if that is so, he should be out there getting money from outside to help. Not just saving. Raising funds is a huge part of his job and like it or not, that was something JJ was great at. I think he being part of the "good ole boy system" , as so many of you like to say, helped in that part.

There are so many parts to his job. He must be good at all of them unfortunately. I would not want that job.
