So this is a weird situation because I think everyone has been behind AG after the Harsin hire, but this situation paints him in a negative light (essentially holding athletic programs back due to budget issues). Supposedly Burgess is there to make sure the programs have what they need to compete with our rivals, which is something we've all been asking for. I'm not really sure what to make of it all, but I hope in the end we don't have another athletic disaster like 2020. Maybe we'll finally start seeing the financial moves we've been asking for.

Such as....?

I don't think it's a facilities thing as much as it is an operational problem for these coaches.

And with Harsin here and if he is trying to recruit much farther out, then his budget for recruiting HAS to expand. His and some of his coaches connections are far west, and that cost is going up. And if AG is going to limit him too then that IS a problem for a new coach trying to instill a new 'culture'.

And I wouldn't doubt one bit that if he ruffled some egos during the coach search, then they are definitely going to find ways to get him out...

...but PLEASE...it better not end up bring in another GOB like T. Jackson..
