There has to be. A bye from the loser’s bracket the game before the championship series is just an absurd advantage.

It doesn't feel right at all because NCST never had that chance as it was taken from them. We will never know who the champ will be.

I would want my team to play the best and so that no doubt can be cast even if that means waiting a few days for the other teams players coming back from covid issues.

Man if I was a state fan I’d be thrilled either way. You guys have come through some tough teams and will have to beat a rested Vanderbilt twice.
Vandy will certainly have an asterisk if they win, but I wouldn’t worry about it if I were a state fan.
