since Minnesota last won a Big Three national championship! Gophers have four poll national championships in football - 1936, 1940, 1941, 1960 and three CWS national championships - 1956, 1960, 1964.

Is Minnesota a better Big Three school than Tennessee? Come on Serraneaux, get your Vols relevant again!

There are a lot of fraudulent National Championship claims, but this is the biggest one. The Gophers finished with 2 losses, including a loss in the Rose Bowl.
Ole Miss was the best team in 1960.
