Yea our #3 guy that threw all the shite passes to Gilbert.
I'll grant you this one thing you did get in Gilbert is a 100% grade A head case. Maybe for your sake it will be better since he is "closer to home".

Shocking that an injury to the starting QB and having to throw freshmen into the starting role would lead to inaccurate passes. Especially in the 2020* season. What a shortsighted take, as if LSU's QBs won't be much more accurate this year after a full year of offseason work, etc.

Definitely gonna be interesting to see how he committed he is after a fresh start. He should be a handful if he shows up ready to work.

Even if I take this at face value without rebuttal...
He's replacing another 'head case' in George Pickens who is out with ACL tear in Spring. So it's a net-neutral head case replacement.
And if he can provide mismatches and catch the ball and get 1st downs, his head case stuff is irrelevant.
