Younger crowd could careless, the NFL has bit the hand that feeds it. Younger generation digs soccer and axe throwing, most don't even have cable accept for internet to stream.

Baseball, is actually whiter and wealthier han ever with all the travel ball and expense. The diversity seems to come from latin America these days....

Seems like an overgeneralized, hyperbolic exaggeration of current circumstances that flies in the face of my own experience with college aged and young professionals. But sure.

Whiter and wealthier than when? And the wealth involved is all relative to where you happen to live and experience the game being played; to the point of the Latin American influx into the game over the past 30-40 years, you don’t need a lot of money to play it and play it well. Lot of insane talent from otherwise poor countries and backgrounds, nevermind that most public parks in America provide a baseball Diamond and leagues for kids to play. It’s a very accessible game, that some families choose to drop thousands into travel ball doesn’t make the game itself any more or less wealthy overall.
