But can they ever realistically catch-up? Automatic tie-ins and more at larges seems to me a way to keep interest and keep the game from being an regional sport. Otherwise the Bama's and Ohio State's will continue to dominate and the rest of the country loses interest.

Regular season is a snooze. But agree with not letting everyone in. I wouldn’t hate 8 teams with the tops seeds getting a bye
