So theoretically a team could play 17 games now? 12 regular season, 1 conference championship, 1 "wild card" round, 1 quarterfinal, 1 semifinal, and 1 championship. So not only is the NCAA going to stupidly put itself in the position of competing with the NFL playoffs, they're definitely not going to increase the scholarship limits to offset the added attrition that many teams will face.

It’s a lot of games, they could cut two regular season games but then you are killing revenue for home games.

This is my beef. The beauty of CFB is the ridiculously low sample size. We all know that App ain't beating Michigan 90/100 times, but they rolled their 91-100 and we all have to live with it. That's fricking awesome. This is not baseball. Its not about reducing error range to find the most mathematically sound determination of who is "better". It's an impossible thing to chase. There is no way that we could ever play enough games to get a reasonable sample size.

All it will do is increase the number of injuries we see and make money, largely for entities that we don't give a shite about.
